need help with crank pully bolt

Question need help with crank pully bolt

need to change water pump on my 91 teg and I tried everything to get the crank bolt out but it will not move .
Any ideas would be great.

i had same problem on the same motor to put on a type r n1 pully so i took it to z fever because they have some strong ass air tools they did it in a second

if the car still works take it up to a shop & tell them to break it loose
with an impact gun...if it does not run then I know a few other tricks to get the bolt loose.......

Find the longest poll that will fit over a breaker bar, and have someone hold the flywheel so it doesnt move -Ben

agree with ben

Honda has a very inexpensive crank took to remove this bolt its like a big hex nut that fist inside the crank pully it wont damage the pully or crank...


FYI ben maybe the tranny is still connected to the engine ? just a thought.

If all else fails get a Big Freaking Air gun ! But the best bet is to get the Crank Wrench Snap has them as wellas some parts stores not that pricy and its a good tool to have.

i needed a strong impact gun, we tried everything including heating,wd 40 nothing worked

I use 700+ ft-lb air guns. Works every time
