b18c1 fuel pressure

Default b18c1 fuel pressure

i've looked and can't find the stock fp. i have a fpr on it and it's at 49-50 idle.....it was like that when i got it. if it's to rich wouldn't it make it slower ect?

you wont lose enough power by running rich to make a difference in my opinion... my car runs pretty rich but thats the way i like it to prevent detonation etc....

ypur idle pressure "stock" should be

with regulator vacuum hose attached 38-46 psi
with it disconnected 47-55 psi

thats stock, depending on whats done IE: injector size, timing, you may want to up it....hope it helps

i would set it at around 40psi. If you are too rich then you are just wasting fuel. try and pull a plug that will tell you were you stand.

Supposedly the real way to tune a FPR at the track is via making passes every pass adding FP and monitoring your trap speeds.
If your trap speed is slower then you supposedly have too much fuel.

I have read this in many honda/acura tuning manuals.
