i have a mini-me setup in my hatch and now its time to hook up the vtec. i am running a vafc on the car and im curious to know which color wire to hook up the vtec wire to. any help is appriciated.

is it a vfac ...?? thats a controller NOT a vtec activation swich
You need an activation switch ( MSD) unless its a 92-95..
than you need the a p28 ECU.......

 

yeah, adam was telling me about that. what i dont get though is how can it control vtec then?? i mean it has to shoot some kind of singnal through the wire. if i hooked up a activation switch would i still be able to control vtec through the vafc??

 

r u running a pm6 if so

You have to run the blue i think color right to the vtec solinoid wire which is green wire on the solinoid

 

pm6 has no vtec activation in the ecu. but yes i am running a pm6

 

Get a P28 ecu please.

 

how hard would it be to convert over to a p28? is there some kind of how to somewhere?

 

to convert, pm the guy above you about his harnesses but your right it doesnt have a vtec on the pm6, you run all the wires that you can to the pm6 besides the vtec wire and that wire your run to the solonid,i have this on my car right now and it works fine

But if you want to do it right get a p28 and convert it to obd1

 

then what is the point of have a vafc?? if it cannot control vtec. shouldnt i be able to hook a the vtec wire up to the vafc??? i dont know. i just dont get it.
