i was considering getting a supercharger for my cr-vtec in my crx and puttin 10:1 pistons and some good rods in it with 8psi and the lht performance j/r intercooler thingy. i figured it would lay down around 250 to the wheels but i decided to get rid of my rex instead. if anyone is interested pm me.

I depends on what you are looking for. I am running 10:1. I dynoed my car stock and it put down 162 HP and 149 Tq. I put a JRSC with 9 lb pulley, 550cc injectors and a Hondata untuned. 6 runs on the dyno came up with 242hp (best one) and 222 TQ (Best one). Thats no intake, exhaust, header or any kind of bolt on. I did have the engine rebuilt but I did not change the configuration of the engine. Just wanted everything stronger. Happy with the horsepower for what I have but extremely happy with the torque seeing how I drive a heavy ass prelude. Once tuned, my main concern is belts. I was not looking foward to maintaining a turbo setup.

So what I am saying is it all comes down to tuning but yes it can be done.

Now my question. Does anyone know a rock solid, knows what the hell they are doing, Hondata tuner. Just moved to the City 2 weeks ago. Any info is appreciated.

what engine? u dont need to go down to 9:1 tho. thats a more turbo friendly compression. superchargers can go a lil higher.
