car trouble, help me please

Default car trouble, help me please

OK, so I have a 91 integra GS 5spd... my car runs rich and it also boggs down when im in first gear, when i go to take off it like spits and sputters backfires.... anyone know what could be causing this? new distributor assembly,plug wires, and plugs... could it be the injectors and or the fuel pump????

it could be alot of things causing that to happen. when u said
new cap plugs wires did u change them or are u asking if u should change them

if u didnt change them i recommend it since it seems like u dont tune ur car up too often
ur car might have jumped timing not likly but possible
check to see if ur plugs might be fouled out or maybe bad gas
but there are alot of things it could be there are a few to look into good luck

i tune my car up as frequent as directed... and i put new plugs wires and bought a whole new distributor assembly

Long shot but STP Fuel Injector cleaner might be it. When was the last time if ever that you did that?

try a compression test, if its low in a couple of cyl's, it could be a head gasket, put a small amount of new oil in the cyl its low in(to check the rings),or you can go get a leakdown test done, it could be sticking valves, is your IACV clean?, it could be your ign coil...there is too much open here.

i'll have the tests done...iacv might be clogged, im gonna put a 98 ls intake manifold on so im sure if its the iacv the problem will be fixed

Get some spark plugs or spark plus wires that could be the problem.

bought brand new 9.3 mm wires with NGK iridium 19's, dont get any better than that
