ls turbo ?

was wondering if the b18b block is cast iron or is it aluminum like the other blocks?

It's aluminum, but it's also good and sturdy. It can handle roughly 15lbs of boost tuned well.

i think he doesnt think the block can handle the boost, well i have seen them take well over 30psi .... thats built tho

I'm talking about stock internals. Built, i'm sure they can handle plenty.

The block itself isn't the issue here, it's the sleeves. They are strong, but not bulletproof. There is not a real answer to your question here... Your question would be more like.. how much power can the stock block hold? The answer there would be, right around 250-290whp.
