Default codes 14/43

14 is iacv idle air control valve
43 is fuel system

I replaced the idle air and it still through's the code.
When I am driving with little gas it jerks the car like I just learned how to drive a stick it is bugging the heck out of me. Has anyone had this problem and what did you do to fix it?

Josh

ok the codes are 10 IAT Sensor (Intake Air Temperature) and 14 IAC Valve (Idle Air Control) now and its 23 KS (Knock Sensor) sorry not 43 (fuel supply system) and I have replaced the fuel filter did nothing to help. The car at low throttle acts like I am just learning to drive a stick. I also tried unplugging both sensors and swithing them. I replaced the IAC.

I had a problem like that and like john said check your grounds on the motor..Mine came of the tranny and i couldnt even get the car to go over 2k like janky1 said looked like i could not drive my car just kept sputering.. I would also check the seals under the valve cover on each spark plug..If one of those goes bad it will soak the spark plug with oil ,then when that cyl fires it burns the oil off..But it will do the samething your talking about will sputter at low rpms... Just trying to help out..leting you know my problems ive had..

actually the idle is fine . . . well except sometimes it lingers at 1500 RPMs then if you tap the gas it'll settle down to a normal idle. . . .

the problem is really that you have to either be on it (gas) hard or completely off of it. . . . . if you try and feather or hold the gas at a certain speed it starts bucking like you cant drive a stick.

i just talked to the kid that had the car before me and he said that it has always done that since the swap was installed

. . .hope that helps
