oil control jet mini me ***PICS***
Honda used various kinds of bonds for their OE head gaskets.
Mine was a B*TCH to get off and I scraped as much as I could.
Well, I learned the hard way and built up my mini-me quickly.
It ran fine for 10 months then the leaks started!
Long story short the new head gasket blew and I had to rebuild the whole motor.
The second time I pulled the motor, decked the block and buit it.
That's the correct way to do it. Don't try to do it while the motor is still in the car! LOL!
Since then I have had NO problems (knock on wood) running
10.9:1 comp and 93 oct gas.
I would be VERY careful if you decide to NOS. Mini-mes are by nature high compression and tempermental so take care when
juicing her!
