This run was made it COMPLETE DRIVING FORM ( tipped to the top tank of gas, 93oct., completly stock exhuast with punched cat, tools "in case shit", 5 extra quarts of oil, and all the misc. stuff my girl and I took to the track ).
I was running 10psi with the stock clutch ( which was slipping so bad in 4th that I was literlly tapping the gas almost all the way though 4th gear !! ) stock CRX Si rims, with BFG comp. TAs ( non DR ). Car was of course in "full interoir" foam.
I was pretty happy... That was the best outta.... one run... Yeah, one run... kinda..
#1 run = IC pipe came off in 3rd gear
#2 run = above times
#3 run = clutch slipping so bad it ran a 17.5 and I was in 5th by the time I went though the traps !!! I desided it was time to sit in the stands...
Sucks, but I'm happy..

WEll.... This is an engine that for some reason, no one has ever though up... Its a D16Z6 block with a D16A6 head ( D15b2 in my current state ). I call it the "un-mini-me". Slap a vtec head on a non-vtec block you get high compression, right ?? Well, if you do the oppisite and you slap a non-vtec head on a vtec block, you get low compression !!! 8.4/1 compression to be exsact....
Anyway here is the parts list...
D16Z6 block with 98K miles
D15b2 head with 160K miles ( same as A6, just weaker cam ).
D16Y8 intake manifold with IAT sensor dangling by the firewall.
Ported HF manifold with BMC racing adaptor plate

Interoir ??
Full civic H/B Si interoir swapped into it with a simple pioneer Cd player. The dash is still "Dx", but it has boost, elect. FP, and A/F guages by autometer ( phantom style ).
It also has the best interoir mod of all for old h/bs !!! The 94+ integra center console ( yeaaa, cup holders !!! But no "supersizing" !!! )

The exteroir is the best part...
Minus the starion IC.... No one knows the wiser !!! The stock exhuast is dead quite !!! And I still get 5psi at 2200rpms and 1X+psi by 3000rpms !!! With low compression mind you...
The clear coat is coming off, so I figured I'd better slap a paint job on it soon.... I made some hood vents on the stock hood, which sounds really ghetto and sounds like it would really make the car look like crap, BUT to my supprise ( and everyone elses ) they look fairly good !!! ( And I'm the kinda butt-monkey that dis-likes wings and "bling bling" kinda stuff ), but I gotta say it turned out better than I thought it would.... Too bad I gotta paint it.... Ole well, painting it the factory color anyway, to match the dor jams and engine bay...

2 inch charge piping
ebay plate
I never ran it at the track and did 5-15lbs of boost when i had it.I'm guessing similar times to yours in the 1/4.As far as beating the ta i'm with u man.I raced a modded ls1 ss on a 60+roll and hung with it till the crxs top speed.When u get some tuning i dont see why u cant break 200hp and high 12's in the 1/4.

Hey Brian, great to see you post this up on TR, to everyone on here, this guy motivated me to finishing my home made turbo kit, oh, and that z6 head of his is on my crx, on the 3rd motor, poor fuel managment, and a half of quart of oil doesnt last long. well brian, love your setup, i hope you make it out to best buy saturday, im doing some rebuilding on the crx saturday, but i should be done by best buy time, hope to see you up there again. -Ben

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.
You can use the same manifold and turbo as I have and keep the A/C, but you'd have to use a different adaptor plate. The compressor housing would be twisted torward the front of the car more ( meaning that you'd have to get a half-sized radiator ) and the Down-piping would have less room and be closer to the block.
I've seen it done by a guy on H-T/HMT. I think he was making 189whp on like 8psi with PS and A/C on a Y7/Y8 and starion FMIC.
I can't quite remember his screen name, but it was something like "sctty" somthing..
I gutted the WORKING A/C outta my car before it was ever close to being turbo'd, so the fitment issues are something I have no clue about...

Ok, a little more ghetto stuff for you guys !! And one thing I fixed ( kinda ).
#1 I'm featuring the 5.0 "Ford Motorsport" 8.8mm spark plug wires now !!! I had to do a little drilling, cutting, crimping, and bitching, but I think think they turned out pretty goo for free !!! I used to own a mustang about 3 years, ago and for some reason I keep a spare 4 plugs wires that I had for it... I saw them in my shed and thought " damn those are a lot bigger than my honda wires !!!".
#2 I finally found a cheap set of tail lights that I slapped in !!! Yes, the clear tails in the above pics were just "loaners", and yes I know they aren't the exsact same...
#3 I made "home made hood loovers" !! It still isn't finshed being bondoed, and painted, but they work well !!!
