mini me or z6block question? opinions.

Default mini me or z6block question? opinions.

ok here is the deal i have a d15 block and a d16y8 head i was going to put it on my block but i can get a z6 block for almost the same price as the parts for the mini me there is a 50 dollar diffrence and he is going to give me everythign to do the swap gaskets and bolts i was wondering also which is going to put out more power and which is not going to blow up as quickly well just tell me what you guys think please i need to figure out this weekend

what about y8 head on z6 bottom?? an diffrence

so what do you think i should do mini me or z6 block y8 head block?? i dont know what to do but i have to make my mind up by friday of this week cause i dont have a car so please help me out with what i should do

there are no real diffrences between the y8 and z6 minus the intake manifold they are very similiar so my .02 is go with the z6 block i always think you should run the same block with the head. a mini me is the same as an ls/vtec its a match that works but in the long run puts excessive wear on the block. i agree with wgs dont go the cheap route do it right and you only have to do it once.
