sounds like piston rings, especially since when oil burns it puts off a blue color. and you noticing a horrible buildup of carbon on the pistons should have given you a clue, unless they were like that when you got it, then it could be just burning off whats on them.

 

Hey i did another compression test today, remember, this is a mini me so the c/r is really high, came around like this: Piston 1=180 2=225 3=240 4=240

 

I put some stop smoke in there, it doesnt smoke anymore until 3000 rpms, it starts bailing out white smoke... anyone have any ideas at what could be causing this...? please i need some help, thanks tho. -Ben

theres like one other thing that it could be, headgasket. since thats going to get changed also, so im knocking out basically the 2 possibilities, also, when i get back into it, ill find out if the cylinder wall is scared, if so, i have 3 spare good blocks laying around. I like to do things to learn and it gives me more experience in the rebuilding. thanks for everyones help. -Ben
