quick question...

if i want to put a 99-00 ac consol in my 96 how hard would it be???......does anyone know please explain to me....

The console itself should fit right in, but the conectors might be different.
So it might not be plug N play.

If the connectors are different. Yes you'll have to splice the wires into each other.

I don't think it is worth the hassle. The 96 uses a cable to operate the air mix door and the newer one uses electric motors. You would have to add some extra wiring, motor among other things.
