lifetime coverage on seatbelts?

Default lifetime coverage on seatbelts?

I have a civic and the seat belt wont retrack any more. A guy I know said that honda has a lifetime guarantee on the seatbelts is this correct? Free rapair and replacement?

Well i have never heard of that, sort of makes sense though, safety and what not. Here's a novel idea: Why don't you call them and ask?

I called them and and a apointment for monday but i just found out about it an hour ago and they are closed now so if I get it for free great but if I dont im still going to get it done.

honda does have lifetime warranty on seat belts and buckles. but most common cause for seat belt not retracting is the belt being twisted under the panel just before the retractor. don't be surprised if it is fixed without replacing any parts.

by law every manufacturer has to reaplce any faulty safety equipment unless damaged by te owner.
