ls in del sol

Hi my sister has a 93 del sol S. I was wondering if an integra ls motor would swap right in as it does in some other hondas... IF so what all would be needed in the swap?? and what would the estimated performance be?? thanks

yes it swaps in... you would need a full 94-01 LS swap... the only thing that i can think of that is not direct bolt in, is if you get a 96-01 there will be some wiring and ECU issues... nothing major at all... but all the physical parts swap in...

its been done many times before... it is the same front end (under the hood, as a `92-`95 civic)

what about the mounts, i hate to change the topic but will the mounts line up, does he need the mounts off the integra or can he keep the mounts off the del sol?

The mounts do not require any modificatoin, he will need the LS mounts though.

Alright , now that i know what i would need how much does all this usually cost?? How much faster would it make the car? Right now this thing is slow as hell...

You would need to call a shop to get a quote for this, i would suggest ZMR, PM KJ for that one, or Secret Services, banners are all over the place. As far as how fast it would be, you should expect around high 15s close to stock with a good driver.
