Default strange wheel shimmy

at low low speeds from a stop, or coming to a stop, i have lots of shimmying. wheels have been swapped out, PS has been disconnected... same thing. car is smooth as silk once it gets rolling, have not been able to get underneath it to check everything out. its not the wheels tires or brakes.
i can still steer and everything, but when stopping at a light the wheel shimmys side to side, if i hold the wheel dead center, the car shimmys instead???

F'n gremlins.

Sounds like a case of warpped rotors... well at least it sounds like it at the part when you say you come to a stop... taking off at low speed wouldnt be the rotors though...

What about axels? Replaced them recently? Lugnuts good and tight? Just trying to help you out man.

Nah it does the same thing on my 2001 ls teg and my friends 98 does the same thing.. its not the rotors I've checked them many of times and its not cv joints. Its just somthing that they do its not that bad of a shimmy in my car and ive learned to deal with it.
