COde 21
i have a first gen B16a and im throwing a code 21 (Vtec spool solenoid valve)... what could cause this to code besides it being a bad solenoid valve? how do i check to see if its bad?

i put a new one in about 4 or 5 months ago but i havent cleaned it since
