headlight problem???

Question headlight problem???

i was driving last night on the was home from st pete and my drivers side headlight went out.......the corner lights on both sides still worked and the passanger side light worked....well i thought it might be the bulb was burned out but when i tryed my boys headlights i had the same problem.....the high brights work fine...i dont know what the problem is and need to get this fixed asap because i have to drive around at night with my high brights on...
if anyone can help me please let me know asap..thanks,George

maybe a short coming into to that one bulb?

CHeck the wiring, look for cracks in the coating. Maybe a wire was pinched and exposed. Check the voltage coming to that bulb and see if the power is even coming through.

well the same thing happend on my friends 93 civic, but on the passenger side, the thing we did was we had to hit it(literally) a couple of times, it would flinch then turn on, and the we checked all the wiring and it came up ok, but try to move/wiggle the plug around a little bit..all i can come up with?

My car did the same thing I hit the headlight a couple of times and it turned on and has stayed on for about 2 months you could also try some wire cleaner that might help.
