Need Piston help!!!! opinions
I posted this in the general car discussion too, i just want to know if you guys know someplace where i can take my car to get new pistons put in. i might be getting some jdm itr pistons for my gsr but i want to take it to someone who knows what there doing. if you know someone how much do u think itwill cost? who would you reccomend i will be in sarasota for a week, TIA

i would love to do it for you if you come to tampa superduper cheap and i will show you if you need me to so you can do it nd yes i have many many times what are all your parts motor?you getting new rings/bearings sense your are takeing the old ones out

if you take it to almost anywhere and dont o it yourself it will cost you around 300+bucks for stipping off the head and all the work plus putting it all back right and retimeng it

yes i have gotten a couple of quotes 1000,800,400 but i dont mind paying a little more for the peace of mind of knowing that the job was done right. so im just asking around for opinions to on who can do a good job. im pretty sure KJ will do a good job i wonder if SS would do this but this is not something u just go and jump in on right away.

haha 100 posts, rangcrx have u done many of these piston installs,and also do u still have any of those ls motors because i might have a friend who is interested.

yes done many of them it gets easier everytime with my own garage now as for mounts yes..also if you are looking for someone Pm Crix his a good guy to deal with and friendly
