First how much do you have to spend.

If i was you i would rebuild the bottom end (stock parts), then the head would have done P&P, 3 angle valve job, some stage 2 or 3 crane cams, aem cam gears, upgraded springs/retainers, and mill 30 thousandths. Also i/h/e for bolt-ons.

That setup will easly push low 13s in a light crx

i want to keep it around $2000.00-$2500.00not much more,i'm gonna pull the motor this week(if i have time),and strip it down.

as far a low 13's in the 1/4...it allready ran a 13.4 with street tires spinning first,and second.stock block,and head in a 92 hatch.

along with jdm type s cams get a set of jdm type s pistons to raise comp. the type s cams are like comparing b-16 cams to
type-r cams almost, they are a more aggressive cam and factory Honda. cant go wrong with that. also go with 2.5" collector header and exhaust.

guys i'm sorry but the h22 in a eg hatch will run 13's stock with bolt ons.

i'm not sure but i've read that the h22's internals are kinda weak at about 250hp. they start to go to shit. i would get after market rods, pistons, ect. if i were going to rebuild it.

i can say that the car is mean!! i've seen it before and i was going to buy it but he said he sold it when i called!!! good luck man!!

cams sound good! now should i change the valve springs, and retainers also?

when i order those pistons should i get them a little over bore?

and what about rods??

i already have 2.5" collector header exhaust,and a intake.

should have asked this first..the type s parts will fit in the us h22 block, and head.without modding?
