Turbo the b16b ctr, turbo the ls , ot ls vtec
keep your ctr block.... it is basically an itr block with b16 crank, so it is probably more reliable than an ls...
your b16b has the same deck height as the b18a/b and c's
if i were you.. id get a used gsr crank (with matching bearings)
and forged internals and youd be good to go
