Default temp reading hot

I'm driving this morn and suddenly my factory temp gauge starts reading hot.I ease off the throttle and it drops back to normal.i drive it easy with light throttle and it reads fine. When i apply more throttle it rises again. When i get home i open my hood and start lookin for coolant leaks but none were found.my car is turbo and i was thinkin maybe the block was gettin hot due to cylinder temps. It started after i had just gunned it at full throttle and let off.The engine didnt seem hotter than normal when i opened the hood at home so i'm stumped.btw the coolant resevoir didnt get emptier so i'm stumped.I'm thinkin thermostat, sender,or head gasket.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
