Default how bad is cold air

does it really suck up rain water and kill your engine that easily?

is it better to just go with short ram?

no its no as bad as most winny people make is seem with my EG(dont have a CAI on the ITR) i would drive it in the rain with cold air all the time the key is not to go into deep water,so do like they say dont drive threw water of an unknown depth, other then that its not a big deal.

i will speek from experience, you must be very careful with cold air intakes driving in the rain. a stupid car ran me into a puddle on a small 2 lane road and i didnt even gas through the puddle and when i went to turn out i gassed and my motor locked up.

locking up a b16a isnt very fun!

yeah i heard the bypass valve takes away all your gains anyway.

so i should just go for a short ram or even just a k&n filter or something.?
