94-01 integras use b18b1 as the engine code..94-95 Integras use an 0BD1 P75 ECU and 92-93 use an OBD1 PR4 ECU...

b18a1 engines have an Oil/Water Cooler in between the engine block and the oil filter...b18b1 engines do not...

My b18a does not have an oil/ater heat exhanger, afaik, only some b16's had em?

When i was building up my motor, i put a b18b head on a b18a shortblock, there were a few extra/lacking water ports. 94-95 have more ignition advance than 92-93, so I believe that accounts for the extra 2hp.

Are you the original owner of the b18a? b18a's have the same oil cooler as the b16a's...

Yes I am, it came in my 93 integra LS. I also pulled a b18a out of a 92 teg @ the junkyard and it didnt have one either. Also, the b18b ahs the exact same torque as the b18, I dont kno why someoen above stated it had like 6 more ft/lbs or something

sunrise, "it" refers to the motor, not the oil/water heat exhanger. I have NEVER EVER seen one on any b18a/b

Well the b18a blocks are the prefered choice when doing an LSVtec Buildup as some of them come with the Oil/Water Cooler...
