Default wheel lock broke!!

Well..i was attempting to rotate my tires the other day...I have those black kyugen(sp?)lug nuts...the friggin wheel lock that comes with it.. broke right down the middle...Im so pissed...luckily it broke before I got all the lugs loosened...so now..My question is: Do you guys think that...If I contact the company and send them proof that I bought the set(so they dont think Im going to steel wheels with it) they will send me a new wheel lock?If not Ill have to take it somewhere and have them get the damn lugs off..and Im sure they will charge me an arm and a leg... For you guys with locking lug nuts..what brand are you using?

i went with factory locks since i have stock wheels. i'm sure if you provide proof that you purchased the set, there should be some kind of warranty against breakage. if this is the case, they should be able to issue you a new one.

wheel locks are useless. You do know that you can use a slightly larger socket and fit it over the lug and smash it on there and break it off. I wouldnt worry about geting another set or locks. Ive broke many of those from people losing there locks.

get 4 cheap stock lug nuts, mix you up some JB weld, heavy on the hardner, and stick the lug nut on to your locknut, let the JB weld set and presto, you can take them off, or if you know someone who can weld, have them weld you a nut onto the lock, locks will stop some people, but if they want it real bad, they just use a tow truck!

my stock lugs are round, so i don't think a socket would work too well

hmmmm..ok...thanks..ill have to try the jb weld idea....yeah..its not like I think that those lugs would keep people from stealing them altogether...but it would slow them down some....plus I just liked them cause they are black....

Ones that my g/f has comes off with a fat hex key lookin thing. It fits in the end of a 4 way and into the nut then pop. Luckily I've never seen any hex wrenches big enough to take those off with!! So if you don't have the key for it you can't have the rims!
