sohc turbo block suggestions
i've been thinkin its time for me to actually do a d-series engine which i have never done before (i've stuck to b and h series) i was thinking about doing a turbo z6. now i want to be big boostin, so i was thinking 9:5:1 or 9:0:1 compression pistons, someone suggested 8:5:1. anyone put low compression pistons in their honda? how were the results. i also need suggestions on rods. maybe suggestion for cams too...

8.5:1 won't be very streetable and before boost the car will be a dog.
Stock is 9.1:1 in a z6, and 9.6:1 in a Y8(or with a y8 head)
Stick with being in the 9's on compression, and go with forged rods and pistons. You will be alright.
