HCP Engineering makes a pretty nice kit as well. Pretty reasonably priced too. Not sure what the Has Sport is going for though.

So... no "complete" hydro conversions... like no slave cylinders, no hydro lines? How well is the conversion going to hold up... the Hasports system that you did? Is it reliable? How much did the setup run? I have been thinking of converting to hydro, when, and if my cable S1 goes out. Thanx.

cost was $470 shipped or so. The setup looks real solid. No hydro lines at all.

I don't think you have put much thought into the Hydro Conversion Kit that Hasport Offers...

The kit uses the clutch cable to engage and disengage the Hydro Tranny's Clutch Fork...Thats all...Its made p of a bracket and I believe you drill a hole into the Hydro Tranny's Clutch Fork insert the threaded end of a Metal Rod, put the nut or stop on the other end so now that acts like the Hydro System's CLutch Slave Cylinder...Then the Cable attaches to this directly or indirectly...Pressing the pedal pulls the Clutch Fork and the throwout bearing pushes it back when you release the clutch pedal...

You can probably do this with wire and a pulley/bracket and a nut and a bolt...But, it will be 100% unreliable and Hasport produces only Quality Parts with LifeTime Warranty...

The other major part that comes with this kit is the Tranny Mount...The Cable Tranny and the Hydro Tranny uses different mounts...

For what it is worth, the HCP Kit includes the tranny mount as well, it is quite a bit less money that the HASSport, same warranty.

Thats a good thing since competition forces prices down...You have to also realize if the company offers the warranty, you hope you never have to use it...

I couldnt agree more. Fortunately competition really drives the cost down in this instance..
