Questions about possible swap

Thinking of doing a LS instead of rebuilding the SOHC. What exactly is needed to put a 97 LS motor into my 93 Si.

What axles will i need...is an Auto LS motor going to be ok ina 5 speed?

You need any b series axels(Intermedita shaft too), shift linkage, and yes the Auto motor will be ok as long as of course you have a manual B series tranny to bolt to the longblock, and make sure you use your wiring harness. I'm pretty sure the auto harness will not work.

is there any difference in the internals of an auto LS and 5 speed LS..just wondering...if the actual motors are the same

No difference. You will need an SiR (JDM B16) shift linkage, upper and lower B series mount, B16 rear tranny bracket as well.

not true... the `90-`93 teg axels will not work... any other b series will work...

some what true... you can also use any `94 and up teg shiftlinkage, also the `99-`00 Si will work...
