copy cat j/k

i am putting my 89 crx si motor mini me zc piston with lotsa goodies swap into my 91 hatch. really there isn't a lot to do. you can use the 90-91 hatch motor mounts, we are putting in new inserts. if the hatch was a dual point injection there will be some rewiring to do. we are also replacing the shift linkage inserts.

the main diff is of course the body weight unless you gut the hatch.

good luck.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

depending on the weight differece between the two, and what is done to the motor, i would say mid 15s with some work.

now see what you've done. now i'll have to go out to my hatch and check the weight and then when i go visit my crx tomorrow i'll have to compare.

i am thinking the rear seat in my hatch is the main weight differnce.
