What is the Differance? ITR CTR cams???
I have a b16 and want to put some moderatly inexpensive cams in and decided to go with either ITR or CTR cams, but don't know the differance as far as power, torque, top end, 0-60, quarter mile, stuff like that. Someone please explain to me the pros and cons of each. I have the motor in my crx. Thanx

I believe the CTR rev's higher, but makes less power then the ITR. That should give you some idea.

The 99-00 itr cams are for all intents and purposes CTR cams. There will be no noticeable difference between the two. in 9-97 the intake cam on the itr had 3 degrees less duration. The exhaust cams on the two have always been the same.

2001 ITR Intake Cam is the same as the CTR Intake Cam. The Exhaust Cams are both exactly the same for all the Type R cams. The Civic Type R intake cam has 3 degrees more duration and a bit more lift. Its a bit more agressive and looking at both cams the ctr cam has probably about a finger nail more thickness. ITR has 1 engraved line by distributor side and CTR intake cam has 2 engraved lines by the distributor side.
