Question Clutches?
Since i might have to replace my clutch very soon. what brand is good to go with? I was looking on ebay earlier this morning and saw Exedy and ACT. Your opinions?

I have to replace the clutch on the s2000 as well. I think I am going with the ACT pressure plate, ACT street disk, and a Toda flywheel. I am no expert, but I drove an s2000 with that setup and loved it. Good luck.

2002 S2k and your clutch is gone? Reminds me of my Civic.

Exedy is the OEM manufacturer. They also make racing clutches.

ACT is good as well.

i have an ACT, i enjoy it very much, 40,000 miles on it and it still chirps 3rd everytime and 4th if my cars in a good mood

The s2000's clutch is the biggest POS, from what I hear...One clutch dump and its over...

The Pressure Plate is what holds your power and transfers it thru the clutch disc via the flwheel and the tranny's input shaft...

ACT makes some good clutches, I had one in my Subaru at one time...

I like the Clutchmasters Stage 3 Clutch but get the least amount of force as you need to keep the engagement shock to a minimum...
