To swap or not to swap?
A friend of mine is buying a 2000 Integra LS, with dreams of something fast dancing in his head. Would it be more worthwhile for him to swap a H22A engine into it or would a B series engine be a better choice? Budget is mildly limited.
The H22A swap seems cheaper but there certainly seems to be alot more aftermarket parts for the smaller engines.

As much money as you would spend on that swap I would go with ls-t. Just boost the ls motor. Should be just as fast maybe quicker then a stock h22.

Also consider the few extra 100 pounds the H22 is over the LS, say goodbye to handling. I have everything for an LS/Vtec if interested....PM me.

I'd go with the H22. I'm just not an LS guy though.

An h22a integra will still handle very well, and the additional weight can be made up with stiffer springs, or adjustable coilovers. Buy the h22a/mount kit, you'll also need axles (raxles makes an inexpensive set that will hold up to just about anything), and a shifter, and you can either purchase a modified shifter or modify your own shifter. Sell the LS motor. Come out slightly more expensive, but much more reliable and quicker.
There are LOTS of resources and info about this swap on the internet, feel free to PM/AIM me and I can get you information from a buddy of mine that has done 15+ of these swaps.
