Well the difference would obviously be how fast each one is. You contradicted yourself on this one, you said you've seen a crvtec do high 11's and then you said "use an ls/vtec and be in 13's or possibly 12's". So wouldn't that be a reason for doing it?

best ls-vtec ive HEARD of was at 11.3? point being the b20 i saw was completly gutted. like a fish. not t mention im talking about running 13's maybe break into 12's in full street trim

well i have heard of a 10sec crvtect, but what's the best ls/vtec you have SEEN?

If you've never built a block before I'd say to go ahead and build an lsvtec with oem internals. No need wasting a ton of money and losing it because of inexperience. Build a cheaper motor, learn and then move on to something bigger and better. Or just pay someone to build a crvtec for you. What are your goals and intentions for your car?
