Default problems in the world of crx

well as most of you know I have 89 crx that i have been working on and trying to basicaly restor while my wife is driving it....now at this point I am trying to figur out what to do...
1) get a new engine D15 or D16 (mpfi non-vtec)
2) sell the car and cut my losses
3) try and trade it with some cash for another project car that dosnt have blown ring's...
idea's??? I am trying not to get overly agrivated with the car but I realy dont have the time to put into a rebuild on the block so if I can just drop in a new engine with good rings and no probs I would like to keep the car seeing as i have so much time into it but....I dont know I just need a pep-talk at this point

as many swaps as the shops around here seem to be doing i would check with them. i would sell you my d15 dpfi but i can't take it out yet, i have to finish the rebuild that is going in there. check with tk or kj over at zmr, sometimes the motors they swap aren't all blown. also check with velocity resources, it's a hell of a ride, but they seem to get good engines in and know where to find them. also check boards for the scca, some of their classes have to run stock engines. maybe some of their boards have engines listed. good luck. if i hear of anything, i'll contact you.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
