V-tech problem

Default V-tech problem

ok when car starts up and gets warm V-tech works and as motor gets hot the V-tech will shut off ............. Can u help

What engine? How do you know if vtec is working or not?
BTW....VTEC not VTECH!

what motor, what ecu, check what codes your ecu is throwing, and describe whats happening

B16a only code is o2 sensor

VTEC is designed to operate within a specific temperature range. if you're oil is too hot or too cold, VTEC will not engage. you may want to check oil level, VTEC filter, Solenoid, ECU codes....blah blah blah.

when first start up car I let warm up and drive it and then V-tech will kick in around 4500rpm b/c I can hear it and then all of a sudden its just gone............ then ill park it to do something and come out and start it and t will do the same work and then its gone....

sounds like you're running lean because of the O2, but i've been wrong b4.

like he said before, check the solenoid, clean the screen out, check ur oil pressure, and all of that.
