My auto crx made 248,000. From what I was told it was the original engine and tranny. It's hard to believe these motors can make it for a quarter million miles. Anyone heard of any chassis that has hit the 500,000 mark?

Very nice.

My 88' CRX si went 225k and was still going when I sold it. It will last if maintained properly.

Good job.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

I made it to 272,000 miles before my Si engine spun a rod bearing. Would of last a little longer I think if I had changed the oil instead of just adding it though.

164k on my CRX chassis. Still goin strong, but the little things like the clutch and brake pedal thingies that make contact with the switches have disintigrated. Other little odds and ends have also gone bad, but I expect that from a 13 year old car. Go Honda.

Congratualtions. I have 183,000 on my civic. I replaced the head at 170,000 for a 96 ex . With out doubt they are great cars.
