Looking for more Speed
I have a 1999 Acura Integra Ls. So far I've put an air intake on, Chikara performance header, and a performance exhaust muffler. I've heard that Air Flow is the key to Integras so I've done my best to achieve that. For the factory motor (b1
and these accessories its pretty quick but now I'm looking for more ways to gather speed. I know that a turbo kit and NOS are there as options but I'm looking to stay away from something that could end up ruiningg my car's overall performance. If anyone has any suggestions as to what I could do to get more speed please let me know.

change your oil and add vtec fluid when you put in your new oil
it doesnt do too much for performance untill u hit vtec!!
and it will make you motor last longer
oh when u go to discount to buy the vetc fluid get mobil one vtec fluid
its got the big R on the label
works great

Keith, Hartman, What the fuck? Seriously? Help the kid or fucking don't post, you two are serious hard core motherfuckers huh? Especially you Hartman. Damn. Your a badass tuner aren't you? Busting the kid on his VTEC fluid... Get your car running and then think about bashing newbies.
You both need to calm the hell down and give this kid some advice...
I understand this is all in fun, but help the kid WHILE you bash him. OK?

Alright Teg Kid. Here's the deal. From your standpoint now, after having all the BPU's, it's gonna get difficult to make power with out having a serious commitment to your car. IE money. Head work, like cams, and upgraded valvetrain are a good way to go.
Upgraded higher comp pistons are also a decent way to add a few ponies. Unfortunatly you've come to the crossroad of what to do. FI or N/A.
While FI like turbo, SC, Nitrous are all easy ways to make good hp. You will need supporting mods to keep your motor in top shape.
N/A, or All motor, is a fairly safe way to go for performance, although when you want real power, your going to be spending a lot of money on not just parts, but tuning as well.
Both FI, and N/A have great potential. It just matters on how far you want to go.
I realize you said you wanted to stay away from them, but I think your reasoning behind it is ignorant. Do some research on how well Hondata, Boost, and the LS motor love each other. PM Vapor for some good information on his company, and their ability to pull 270whp out of a boosted integra. SAFELY.
If you need anything else man, don't hesitate to post, that's why we're here.

Cronic gave you some good advice!!!!!!!!! I like that, but think long and hard where you want your car.. just toasting rich boys with gt stangs or pulling some serious time slips. Sounds to me like slapping a vtec head on your car, is fairly obtainable for you and would make a nice upgrade, doing cams, and other things to the head is something you could do while your ls, is running fine, in other words buy a head build it slap it on. If spanking gt's is good enough. Other wise there's nothing better than Vapor "john at SS." and turbo'ing, the LS, My friend has a turbo ls teg, hondata from john, Should be running soon. Cant wait to see it ill post some times to let you know what you can do.
Sorry its a pain to read, i dont use complete sentences...oh well.. hope it helps..
