Just think about how much you REALLY want to spend, if you have the cash boost and hondata will be a huge difference...if you want to spend less get some p30 pistons and slap them in your block to raise the compression to a respectable level and add some cams, they make all the difference...and maybe later slap a vtec head on top for more power when you get used to or tired of your setup...and go from there at leats you will have a good platform to start from...then drop the whole shabang in a hatch or rex and call it a day.

I was talking to my friend the other day and he was saying that putting the B16a head on the LS block is the poor man's way, so to speak, of achieving speed. he was telling me that it can be more problems than it is worth if you don't spend the time and $$$ on the engine to do it correctly.

just my 1% of knowledge.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

integra,
cronic is right, you need to decide n/a or f/i. Once this decision is made all it takes is money. I personally like n/a setups but to each their own. I would say do most affordable project that you can finish within your budget. A set of cams and a few other upgrades can make some good power for you. Just my .02

Honestly you should ask advise from some one that has experience with the bolt on products for an ls motor.

I personally found my ls to ride out nicely with some cams & a stock valvetrain, a 4-1 header & a decent intake system.

This is speed under a budget.
If you want to take it a little faster I recommend spraying a nice little 75 shot

Good Luck with your ls motor.
