Default Money to spend!

Hey guys, sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I have been working my butt off, and just bought a DOHC DEL sol a few weeks back, and still have like $1000. I was going to spend it on a paint job but figured screw the paint job....I'll put that into performance. So, I'm just curious...what'd be the best way to spend my $1000? Can anyone get me some good deals on perf. parts? Thanks!

Boost is the way to go. But you can also save some more and get some nice cams, cam gears, valve springs and retainers. Toda or Skunk2.

Turbo would be nice, but it's going to cost more than a grand for a turbo set-up, won't it? and I don't rag my car out, but I am just worried, b/c I am expecting this car to last me untill I'm out of college...haha which is another 67 years the way I'm going now.

I like you attitude. Go before show!!!!!!
exaust for now.
customizing a turbo kit will be a little more than 1000. Maybe just start to buy what you will need for later on.
fuel system stuff, intercooler, pipes, turbo...

or take that money and do all the maintence stuff that is needed to be done. Oil change, tranny fluid, change coolant, brakes, ect....
