Default B Series Bottom End Spec

Sup guys. I have a b series block that I am working on. I need to get the cylinders checked to see if they need to be overbored or not. The block had originally spun a bearing but no biggie I already found a new crank. I am now going to get new pistons but I just wanted to findout if I will have to bore over or just get standard bore. Let me know what you think and much help appreciated.

I Would go .020 over. Just so that you have a clean slate.

Overboring is hardly ever needed if the cylinder walls are ok, you really just need to check the piston to wall clearance and ring gap and go from there or....my personal opinion, buy the pistons and rings and bring them to Eisles or any competant machine shop and have them bore the block out to match the piston diameter as opposed to "general bore .20 or .25"....as pistons are NOT all the exact same bore...that way you know your getting the best seal possible, that's what I do...just my 2 cents...as well as many other engine builders...like Golden Eagle for example...

Remember that when you take the block to get bored out that you take them the pistons aswell.
