88 teg motor to 91 hatch

You put a motor in without a drivers-side mount? And it STAYED in the engine bay??

1. tranny and block only match 4 out of 5 bolts, but still works.

2. after that, I turboed it and 7PSIs blew valve seals.
3. rebuilt head after that.
4. after 395 miles with this motor, It threw a rod.

In conclution, the motor will work, but it has NO potential as a high HP motor, no potential, did I mention no potential?

heheh knocksensor huh,blow a valve seal huh,so your saying the rear mount lined up right with a stock mount

all the side weight was on the front and rear mounts, you you can imagine how messed up those mounts got.

I used the SI/DX tranny, which has 3 motor mounts that line up, and the block was just supported by the 4 tranny bolts.

yes cause i have seen some try this and there was alot of work done and still looked like shit..like for one you say you turboed it how the hell you going to turbo it with it hummping around in there.what manifold did you use?crank pullie? take some picture then you get my vote

no motor mount at all. sorry for the quality of the pictures, I took them with my camera phone. BTW I now have a DOHC ZC in the crx.

BTW the green arrow shows where the d16a1's mount goes, the the red arrow shows where it's supposed to be to fit a crx.
