Default stupid question about breathers

This is something that has bugged me and a few peeps for a while now. Which is better....the little breathers that you can put on the end of your head and on your intake, or to connect you head to the intake with a hose? i have asked a bunch of people this and they all give me conflicting answers. So if there is anyone out there that knows the answer to this dumb but anoying question, please help.

It's always good to have some of the oil vapors sucked out of the motor. The down side is the inside of your intake, throttle body and intake manifold covered in oil spray. My solution was to buy one of those gitterdun aluminum inline fuel filters from Pep Boys (by the domestic chrome goodies) and put it inline with my cam cover breather outlet and the air intake. Works great and I have already washed it out (English translation: carb cleaner) once. It does it's job.

Actually on a turbo you could run one of those little fuel filters and run a hose to the intake pipe after the filter but before the turbo. I belive sr20det motors are set up this way with a hose from the valve cover to the pipe in front of the turbo.

Anyways it would be good to hook it up, the suction helps relive the pressure that builds up inside the crank case. Another solution would be a catch can. I made one on my old setup out of an A/C dryer. Worked real well.

yeah its fucked up, we didnt do anything to deserve it. We were attacked cause some stupid teenage thugs thought it would be funny. The cops want them for attempted murder, but we have no clue who they are and even if we did retaliate they would find out where i live and hurt my property and my mom. So im just going to let it go. My head is fine now and i got 4 of the 11 staples taken out yesterday and chris's cars is fixed, so i guess its all good.

Thanx for answering my question guys! It was a great help.
