You do not need to replace the head gasket to install cam gears. Are you confident in doing this? I would do it in these steps:

Remove grounding strap , plug wires, and all other wires from VC
Remove VC
Remove crank pulley
Remove timing belt covers
Loosen Timing belt tensioner
Slide timing belt off cam gears
Remove cam caps/cam plates
Remove cams
Remove old cam gears
Install new cam gears
Install cams
Install cam caps/cam plates
Install crank pulley
Align cam gears to TDC
Align crank pulley to TDC
Install timing belt
Adjust Timing belt, crank pulley and cam gears at TDC
Tighten tensioner
install timing covers
install VC
double check everything
start it up.

If I have missed anything....please shout. That was a quick 1 minute off my brain install.

you will knock your timing off attempting to do this yourself, take it to somebody.

I agree if you are not confident, then you may want to have someone do it for you. Or try it, just follow the instructions and learn it for yourself. It really is not that hard, just take your time and document everything. Take pictures, write down notes, etc. if this is what you need to remember everything by.

Camgears will not do anything for you unless you have them tuned professionally on a dyno, even then without aftermarket camshafts or upgrade cams you will not see a difference in performance.

You need to take the camgears back & get your self a nice little skunk2 obd2b-obd1 conversion harness and a chipped p28 and plug it in... and have a nice day

Yes, tuning via dyno is the best way to dial them in. You will see minimal gains without upgraded cams, but you will still see improvements.

Skunk2 doesnt even make their own harnesses and there are many better programs to run in the P28 ecu then the Skunk one.

Sorry man but if you need an instruction manual to install them and think that there is the possibility that you may have to replace the head-gasket....you should not be installing them yourself. Not being a dick, just being honest. This is not a mod to take lightly and one which can do some decent damage if installed improperly. Let 'em sit and just make an appointment to get them installed and dynoed.
