turbo or all motor???
get a swap. your better off. turbo charging a sohc vtec would be cool but like cronic said its DANGEROUS. the money you'll spend on that and tuning it you can easily get a Si or GSR swap.

get a swap, the dyno sheets don't lie...you will get more out of a stock dohc than you will out of a turbo or N/A single cam...sohc is a good beginner motor if you just want to toy with a few different setups for very little cash...but you will always get more out of a dohc. They have more tuneability...period end of story...and make more power across the board...once you have worked on and built these motors for a few years you will understand. You CAN get a sohc to 200hp, but you will spend half that getting a dohc to make the same power with more to spare...

honestly man everyone has there own opinions. i have a 91 hatch and im going single vtec with rods and pistons and a turbo kit. more but im not gonna elaborate unless u want me to. honestly i dont expect to be lightning fast but it will be at least a 13.5-13.9 and alot easier on the pockets seeing how i have all the turbo parts anyway. just my two cents ive boosted b16s and gsr's and now im gonna fuck around with this single for a minute. thats me. i do it for me and not to be the fastest bitch out there all the time.

Ive blown up 2 motors from boost. First was because of boost creep. 2nd because I got stupid as fuck and jumped to 26psi. Now how is this the setup's fault Keith? Im really sick of your posting with lack of knowledge.
A stock block SOHC VTEC can make upwards of 300whp @ 16psi and a little race gas.
Pump will prolly make 230 or so.
