i'll throw my .02 in here... get it sleeved by golden eagle, and have them bore it out to 84 mm, run some wiseco or endyn pistons, and you'll be set.

at 84mm the walls are not as thick as stock. the difference between GE sleeves and stock are not the thickness. they are ductile iron so they wont split. also, if you go 84mm and you happen scratch the sleeve you will have to resleeve is most cases. at 81mm you can bore it over 2-3 times and still run boost.

sure you can run 84.5 or even 85mm i have seen. most times when you hurt the walls it will need to go .040 over. In a street car though i dont see any reason to go over 81-81.5mm bore to start out. the gains are not worth the risk in my opinion.

yeah, the sleeves come 84mm from darton but it still has the same wall thickness. you cant make a sleeve thicker when they already touch.
