I’ve got many clients, friends and relatives who live in Florida…
I’ve been keeping in contact with them and thankfully all of them are okay.
However, there’s a big difference between my clients and friends… and my relatives.
My clients and friends are totally squared away.
They have a large supply of food storage.
They’ve got water storage and multiple water filters.
And they’ve got plenty of ways to get power.
They’ve got generators such as propane, gas, and solar.
Several of them have been using the Spec Ops Power System to keep their devices running since they don’t have electricity.
And some have bug out locations that they went to in places like Georgia.
In other words, while the storm caused tremendous damage, they were prepared and weren’t completely freaking out.
And then there’s the set of relatives I mentioned who also live in Florida…
These relatives did call me freaking out.
They had no water storage, no filters, and no way to power devices with the lights out.
And it’s not because they couldn’t afford it. They do quite well and could have easily purchased all the supplies they needed.
Isn’t it always our family members that never listen to us?
Anyways, this isn’t the first time I’ve talked to these relatives about preparedness and they basically laughed at me and said it “wasn’t their thing.”
But guess what?
After the storm and after chatting with them, it’s now “their thing.”
Please continue to keep those in Florida in your prayers…
And if you’ve got annoying relatives like I do, keep trying to help them be prepared as they’ll eventually come to their senses one day.
Stay safe,
