There’s a fellow I know who’s a survivalist and calls himself a water snob.

It doesn’t matter where he is or what he’s doing, he always has to use a water filter.

He could be drinking the cleanest water in the country (Beaver, UT near where I live makes this claim) and he’d still use a water filter.

And now, my wife is turning into a water snob too…

Recently, we were near Meridian, Mississippi.

And she took one drink of water from where we were staying and she said it tasted “terrible and disgusting.”

I took a drink and the water tasted totally normal, nothing wrong with it at all.

But I guess I don’t have a refined palate like my wife.

And so, we ended up filtering the water with the portable survival filter that we carry.

Clearly, this wasn’t a life-or-death situation and no big deal.

But, as one of my college buddies always says, “happy wife, happy life.”

(I’m pretty sure this guy is terrified of his wife and she wears the pants in the relationship…)

Like I said, this wasn’t some boil water emergency or burst pipe in town, but it stopped people from complaining.

And being that I’m still on a road trip with the entire family (6 kids packed into our SUV)… anything that will stop people from whining and complaining is worth it to me.

Anyway, with all the being said, don’t forget to stock up on water filters and on all tangible goods.

With prices continuing to skyrocket…

Now is the time to stock up on all the tangible supplies you can because, no doubt, they’re going to cost a heck of a lot more months from now.
