I thought this would help others to build AND emergency charge there EVs. it could be easily converted to alcohol to and run off homemade fuels. controlling the rotor with the PWM allows it to control the traction motor at different voltages for testing or what not. and for those people that don't have a welder to build with this is a cheep start as mine has a $100 budget.

gas tank on and key start welded in but I think ill swap the self regulated alternator to match the other and run them in parallel. the one should be more than enough but I think it will simplify the PWM controller and add more duty cycle to the rig. I have run the shit out of one and it supplied more power than I needed at all times so two must be better. ill add a voltage indicator and be done. I hope

I though you sold the truck conversion? Do you have another EV?
