I am not talking about an LS1 I am talking about an old school 4bolt main 350 block that can be had and rebuilt with forged internals from the bottom up for about $2k. The heads are another $1800 to $2000 but it is still pretty doable for a fairly reasonable price.

Lightbulb The whole package!

You need to think about your car as a whole unit, not just the motor. If you try to build a high HP motor and you do not address the transmission, chassie or the rearend you will have your self a big head ache. I would be willing to help you in the right direction. You need to think about how fast you can afford to go and for how long. PM me.
