I will believe it when I see it.

No worries though because the next gen Mustang not to mention the Lightning will have almost 500 h.p..

To bad GM has to stop production to get things sorted out before they go to a new platform. You know like the 83 (or was it 86) Vettes or the lack there of.

I think this is great news, it will keep Ford on its toes since they have no real competition.

only problem i see with the HP wars..is the prices of everything will go up..

and the fact that they are initiating the HP wars right when were about to go to war over oil and gas prices will go through the roof.. lol.. i am considering parking the mach 1 and getting a cheap hybrid of some sort so that $20 worth of gas will last me 3 weeks not 3 days.. lol

For sure... could there timing be any better???
All these newer cars coming out are getting expensive and faster....
Watch all the 2006 model cars run 11.8's at 120mph stock on 93 octane... I'll cry.... well actually i should be making a good amount of money by then so maybe i wont...

Actualy the price will go DOWN with the competition. With just the Corvette and the Viper to compete against for the next few years expect the Mustang|Cobra prices will spike a bit but they will come down with the advent of the new Fbody.

You mean like the 2000 cobra and several other Ford cars too there dontcha Slappy?
