okay, i have a 95 camaro 3.4v6, the car starts up somewhat ok...idles smooth for the age. however when you give it some gas it sounds like it is choking and completely powerless. I have given it new plugs, wires, and egr valve. Im thinking i have a bad 02 sensor, cat has been off it for years and ran fine without it. 02 sensor is also before the cat area. Im gona have a video up tomorrow hopefully...btw 138k on it.

 

had the same problem with my s10 at one point, turned out to be one of my injectors was bad

 

ok ill check that to....last nite i disconnected the plugs for the 02 sensors and there was no change in how it ran....so wouldnt the car run the same if they are bad or unplugged...the car sounds great idling and will rev somewhat ok in park...when it drives sputters almost like the exhaust is being opened and blocked..

 

either the timing is off or something crazy. Are you sure all the cats are gutted? cause thats what it sounds like to me, you have a plugged cat

 

yeah that cat was gutted all the way over 5 years ago....gotta find out how to do a video on my phone then post it
